I am interested in art as both research-based – and artistic practice as a form of research itself. This interpretation enables me to investigate how to both think through and communicate phenomenons that I am trying to make sense of. Most of these topics include socio-political narratives that are often connected to conflict and crisis. The artistic approach I chose often includes various media, mainly sound, objects, video and text coming together in an installations. Space, context, and proportion are an important part of these installations: They encourage one to devote oneself carefully to this setting, investigate details and perceptual sensations. Since I never seem to find satisfying answers myself, I see the recipients as allies in this matter: to further re-connect and re-think what I left them with so far.
